T12 were asked to develop a methodology to support the late life extension of subsea assets.

Understanding the deliverables, we developed a process to identify the initial inputs and efficiently assess those inputs in alignment with company well integrity management systems and regulatory requirements.

The methodology delivered a substantiated case for or against late life extensions of a well and any actions or mitigations required to support the case.

One key element of the methodology is to support efficient and effective reassessment following any management of change.

Implementing such a strategy can prove effective in enhancing the capabilities of marginal fields.
