EMERGENCY RESPONSE
TRIDENT ENERGY

Subsea tree being inspected by ROV
Client: TRIDENT ENERGY Location: BRAZIL Sector: ENERGY Scope: WELL INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT

T12 were asked to develop a Robust Emergency Response methodology to support our client’s well integrity management strategy.

The methodology considered the value of available data sourced from actual data such as ROV inspection and well reports and statistical data from industry norms.

We developed the methodology which reviewed how, and which parts may fail, how this would be detected and the effect of failure.

A series of recommendations and proposals were then generated to consider the most effective response to failure and what effect that response would have.

We aligned to existing standards, requirements and procedures, incorporating both producing and non-producing wells.

SCOPE OF WORK
  • DEVELOP A ROBUST EMERGENCY REPSONSE METHODOLOGY
  • SUPPORT THE CLIENT IN IDENTIFYING, CONSIDERING AND EVALUATING PROBABLE FAILURE MODES
  • UNDERSTANDING OF THE SEVERITY AND CONSEQUENCES OF FAILURE MODES AND DEFINE THE CORRECT REPONSE
  • UNDERSTANDING OF SAFETY INTEGRITY LEVEL (SIL) REQUIREMENTS
  • REVIEW OF STATISTICAL AND INDUSTRY DATA
  • PROPOSE INSPECTION AND HEALTH CHECK OPPORTUNITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
