INDUSTRIAL PLANT LATE LIFE EXTENSION

T12 were contracted to provide structural design and analysis to support the late life extension of a large asset located on the Wilton international tier 1 COMAH site.

We provided a full site survey including laser scanning of the structure to document its condition. We then performed preliminary engineering and analysis to recommend remedial measures to ensure the structure and supporting members were suitable for a 15-year life extension.

Our approach allowed the client to take the necessary investment and operational decisions to ensure the plant could remain online, with minimal impact during upgrade works.

 

SCOPE OF WORK
  • PERFORM GVI SURVEY, INCLUDING LASER SCANNING
  • IDENTIFIED REMEDIAL SOLUTIONS TO SUPPORT LIFE EXTENSION OF STRUCTURE
  • PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING AND DEVELOPMENT OF ANALYSIS MODEL
  • PROVIDE COST ESTIMATE FOR ENGINEERING & DESIGN WORK REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT PROPOSED SOLUTION
  • WORK CLOSELY WITH CLIENT TO PROVIDE TECHNIAL ASSURANCE FOR FID
